Dealing with Complexity

6:21 PM

In July 2015, I gave a small talk about complexity at up.front. It was a great experience and the people there were excellent. Here are the slides from my presentation about complexity

In this talk, I compared complex systems with a kid. Most of us have had at some point contact with kids and we know how difficult it is to deal with them. We know that they change constantly, they can not “rollback” and that they are modified by his/her surroundings in real time. They are extremely difficult to handle but for some reason, we manage to do it (well, for many of the kids at least ;-) ). Why don’t we use this knowledge and apply it for solving complex problems?.
